Designed for those who are getting their first arboreal and need an enclosure that provides exactly what the animals need. Most people who are breeding and selling arboreal species keep the hatchlings in rack systems until they are ready to go to their new owners. Oftentimes new keepers struggle with their new acquisitions because they keep them differently from how the breeder has raised them till that point. If they are kept in enclosures that are too large, too open, too drafty etc. the animals struggle to settle in and survive for the new owners. Tranquility Base is designed specifically to help with this process by mimicking how the breeder was keeping their animals without having to buy an entire rack system.

This enclosure uses a Cambro Half-Pan Polycarbonate tub and mimics a full rack system but this one has only a single tub. Because of the intent of the design you will find the following benefits:

• Tranquility Base 2.0 has the following upgrades:

  • Sliding front door to hold in heat better. Some homes have an ambient temperature that make it hard to achieve the desired temps for the animals in their enclosures. The polycarbonate door allows you to hold in the heat much better than a complete open front. If you don’t need the additional help with heat simply remove the door.

  • Now stackable with locking pins. Each Tranquility Base 2.0 has pre-drilled holes and included metal pegs to allow you to stack these cages with them locked into position.

  • The system now has 4 holes on each side for additional ventilation if desired. Simply remove as many included plugs as you desire for more air circulation to reach the Cambro tubs on the inside. This is particularly helpful if you utilize the sliding front door.

  • Utilizes the very functional Cambro Half-Pan tubs (ID: 28CW135). Dimensions are 12-3/4” x 10-7/17 × 8” (L x W H). You will need to drill your own vent holes in the tubs as desired.

• Helps to reduce stress for new acquisitions because it replicates how most breeders raise their offspring until they are sold.

• Tubs are very easy to heat and keep clean. They were originally designed for the food industry and by default are easy to clean and sterilize. You can even put these tubs in a dishwasher.

• Covered on 5 sides to minimize stress from over exposure. Provides a sense of security.

• Sliding tub drawer makes it very easy to attempt feedings while not overly stimulating the new acquisition.

• Includes a newly designed perch for young arboreal snakes with 5 perching rods to provide plenty of locations to perch anywhere in the tub. Also dishwasher safe and made from HDPE cutting board material.

• Can be used for young Green Tree Pythons, Emerald Tree Boas, Carpet Pythons, Amazon Tree Boas, Boa Constrictor species, basically any young arboreal or semi arboreal species.

• Assembled version includes the Cambro Tub, Sliding Front Door, Heat Tape, Perch, and a baby hook

  • IMPORTANT: You will need to properly affix a thermostat probe/sensor to the included heat tape. Because the end user is responsible to setting up the heat tape and thermostat he/she assumes all responsibility for any damages caused by malfunctioning heat tape or thermostat. By purchasing Tranquility Base from Specialty Enclosure Designs the customer/owner/end user assumes all responsibility for the use and functioning of the product and cannot hold Specialty Enclosure Designs responsible for any death or damages.
